Explore how nutritional therapy with labs could support your unique needs

Health challenges don’t develop overnight—and neither do lasting solutions. That’s why I take a step-by-step, personalized approach to help you understand your body and reclaim your balance.
First, we dive into your health history, symptoms, and patterns during your initial consultation.
Then, using tools like functional blood chemistry and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), we uncover hidden imbalances and create a personalized, practical plan tailored to your body’s needs.
With ongoing 1:1 support, you’ll learn how to implement changes successfully, adjust your plan as needed, and build habits that support long-term health.
My goal is to empower you with knowledge and tools that help you feel energized, balanced, and confident in caring for your health.

1. Comprehensive Initial Consultation
This 90 minute session is where we begin to understand the full picture of your health. Before we meet, I review your intake forms, health history, food journal, and Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ), allowing our time together to be focused, efficient, and meaningful. During the session, we explore your symptoms, patterns, and lifestyle in depth—connecting the dots between what you’re experiencing and what may be driving it beneath the surface.
You’ll leave with personalized diet and lifestyle recommendations, along with clear guidance on which functional lab testing would be helpful for your next steps—so you can move forward with confidence and a deeper understanding of what your body needs.
This session lays the foundation for all future work together.
2. Personalized Lab Review and Protocol Delivery
This 60-minute session is where we take a deeper look beneath the surface—using lab data to better understand what’s driving your symptoms. Prior to our session, I complete a thorough analysis of your lab results, looking for patterns, imbalances, and connections that may not be obvious at first glance. This allows our time together to be focused on interpretation, clarity, and actionable next steps.
During the session, we walk through your results in a way that’s clear and easy to understand, connecting your labs back to your symptoms and overall health picture.
You’ll receive a personalized protocol—including diet, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations—designed to support your body’s needs, along with guidance on timing for follow-ups or retesting if appropriate.
This is where we move from insight to a more targeted, strategic approach.
3. Follow-Up Sessions
These sessions are designed to support your progress as you begin implementing your personalized plan. Prior to each session, I review your progress, symptoms, and any updated labs (if applicable), so our time together is focused, efficient, and tailored to where you are in your journey.
During our session, we assess what’s working, identify any challenges, and make thoughtful adjustments to your nutrition, lifestyle, or supplement protocol as needed.
Follow-ups are scheduled based on your goals and preferences, allowing your care to evolve at a pace that feels supportive—without unnecessary pressure or rigid timelines.

Supplements
If recommended, supplements will be purchased separately. Clients have access to professional-grade supplements via Fullscript or Doctor's Supplement Store. Both dispensaries allow me to provide exclusive discounts to clients.
As part of your personalized journey, we'll use a powerful tool called Nutri-Q. This software helps us better understand your unique health needs by organizing detailed information you provide in a questionnaire called the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ).
Once completed, Nutri-Q generates a Symptom Burden Graph, visually highlighting the areas where your body may need the most support. This helps us pinpoint key foundations of health—like Nutrient-Dense Diet, Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Sleep, and Stress Management—and see how they may be affecting different body systems, including Cardiovascular, Endocrine, Immune, Nervous, and Digestive systems, among others.
Based on the results, I will work with you to develop a customized plan that focuses on addressing these foundational needs, helping your body restore balance and function optimally.
During our sessions, we will use the insights from the Symptom Burden Graph, in tandem with lab insights, to guide recommendations, monitor progress, and ensure that the support you’re receiving is aligned with your bio-individual needs. It's a dynamic, ongoing process to help you achieve your health goals and feel your best.

The graph above shows two sets of results of the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ). The red bars indicate initial symptom severity. The green bars indicate symptom severity after three months of nutritional therapy.
Here are some frequently asked questions that may help provide further clarity. If you still have questions, feel free to message me from the contact page.
Anyone can start with a complimentary 15-minute discovery call. This allows us both to see if we'd be a good fit. If you'd like to work together, the first appointment is the Initial Consultation. Then we follow up with the Lab Review. After the lab review, follow-up appointments can be scheduled on an as needed basis.
- Initial Consultation: 90 minute video conference to review intake, health history, NAQ. We can begin discussing diet and lifestyle strategies and decide on the best lab testing to pursue for further clarity.
- Lab Review: 60 minute video conference to review lab analysis and a customized diet, lifestyle, and supplement protocol to address your needs and goals.
- Follow-ups: Either a 30 or 45 minute video conference to discuss progress or update protocol as needed.
All clients also get access to your own private HIPPA compliant client portal, access to professional supplement dispensaries with exclusive discounts, and access to my growing client resource guides and handouts. While I do not provide unlimited messaging support, clients can message me through their client portal with any brief questions or concerns that pertain to their analysis, protocol, or any updates on their progress.
Lab costs are not included as I do not recommend a one-size-fits-all set of labs. Therefore, I cannot factor lab costs into the price. Each client’s needs are unique and I determine which labs may be most helpful based on your health history, presenting symptoms, goals, and budget. Labs are billed separately and typically range from $100–$350, depending on what’s needed. My approach is focused on efficiency, avoiding unnecessary tests, and tailoring your plan to uncover the root factors affecting your health.
Supplements are also not included. I do my best to make strategic recommendations. Clients will have access to Fullscript and Doctor's Supplement Store. Both are trusted clinical-grade supplement dispensaries that allow me to provide clients with great discounts.
My main focus is functional blood labs, though I can also interpret HTMA results as needed. I only recommend labs that are truly necessary to uncover root causes or underlying imbalances—my goal is to avoid unnecessary, costly testing and focus on what provides actionable insights for your health.
I am always expanding my knowledge and training to bring new tools to my clients; the next area I plan to offer is gut microbiome testing.
I do not bill insurance or directly accept HSA/FSA payments for sessions. You’re welcome to check with your insurance provider or HSA/FSA plan to see if reimbursement is possible. In some cases, lab testing or clinical supplements may be eligible for HSA/FSA coverage, but this varies by plan, so it’s best to confirm with your provider.
All sessions are non-refundable. Much of the value of my work happens behind the scenes—reviewing intake forms, analyzing labs, and creating personalized recommendations—so the session fee reflects both the time you spend with me and the preparation I provide. While I cannot guarantee specific results, your progress depends on your individual body, adherence to the plan, and lifestyle factors.
This is also why I recommend a complimentary Discovery Call first—it gives us a chance to meet, discuss your goals, and ensure we’re a good fit before committing to a session.
You can begin in whichever way feels best for you. Many clients start with a complimentary Discovery Call to discuss health goals, review your history, and see if my approach is the right fit. However, if you’re ready to dive in and start your personalized plan, you can skip the Discovery Call and schedule your Initial Consultation directly.
I hope these answers give you a clear picture of how we work together. Every client’s journey is unique, and I’m here to guide you toward solutions that fit your body, your goals, and your lifestyle. Provided below are brief quotes from clients who have experienced my approach firsthand.

"I was impressed with Cherie’s knowledge of the test results, the likely causes, and her recommendations. The information she provided was far more substantial than anything my doctors have explained in the last 20 years. In just eight weeks, I lost over 25 pounds, dropped four inches from my waist, and watched my estimated A1c fall from 7.7 to 5.9. It's the best progress I’ve made in decades."

“Cherie’s preparation and analytic skill stood out immediately. She walked me through every metric of my blood work with clarity and depth, supported by a thorough, highly detailed analysis that my primary care doctor fully validated and even used to adjust my prescriptions. Her knowledge is impressive, and her genuine care is just as remarkable."

"As a chronically ill person, I am often working with several different care teams who often don’t communicate well about the labs each of them are running. With a practitioner like Cherie, I have someone who can review all of my reports and make integrated recommendations that take the full picture of my health into account. And she’s truly a pleasure to work with!"
When you understand your body’s signals, the path forward becomes clear. Whether you’re just starting out or ready for deeper support, I’d love to walk alongside you. Let’s begin with a simple step — a complimentary Discovery Call.
